What is filler?
Filler can be used to enhance and rejuvenate your appearance by adding volume, hydration, and elasticity to areas such as the cheeks, under-eye, chin, smile lines, temples, and even the hands.
What is a neuromodulator?
Neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau will temporarily reduce the muscle activity in the areas that cause signs of aging, reducing wrinkles, fine lines, lip lines, and crow’s feet.
How long will the results last?
Neuromodulators last on average three months, while fillers may last six months to a year, depending on the filler. Biostimulation with a series of treatments can last two years.
How are fillers and neuromodulators different?
Filler and neuromodulators can be used in conjunction to address multiple signs of aging while working differently to produce results. Fillers plump and add volume to targeted areas, while neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau work to relax the muscles that cause signs of aging, such as between and around the eyes.
When will I see results following injections?
Neuromodulator results look full effect at two to three weeks and look their best after three weeks where fillers results are instant, but may have swelling for about two weeks depending on the filler and your healing process.
